Comment:

 The stop icon ''is'' a bit western biased.  However, since activities will
 be highly session based, we want to make a distinction between the "close"
 action of other systems and focus on the idea of "stopping" something for
 now,  and "resuming" it later.  This is the reason for the new design; The
 'x' inside has some legacy intent. I'm not sure that introducing the
 octagon to mean stop will be any stranger than introducing 'x' to mean
 close for those who've never seen either.

 The dissimilarity of the icon style is a valid observation, but we're
 actually transitioning all of the icons to bolder white fills, since they
 feel more "clickable", and because the use of outline-only icons is
 supposed to represent inactive or un-pressable controls throughout the UI.
 that said, I actually need to get the remaining icons into the builds, but
 stop will stay as is, at least for now.
