Comment:

 The problem here is that you running with the system python, but using
 modules compiled against the jhbuild one. That's going to cause all kind
 of problems. The easier solution might be to make sugar-jhbuild use the
 system python if it's 2.5. If you are happy with that please open a ticket
 about it.

 I agree the dependency on dbus sucks but I don't think it's critical and
 it looks complicated enough to get rid of it that it's not worth for
 Trial-2.
