 Looks like HAL's suspend/resume path is the main reason it takes non-OLPC
 laptops so long to suspend/resume; it's full of shell scripts and VT
 changing and sleep statements.  I think we should change our HAL call to
 the simple `echo mem > /sys/power/state` for now in OHM, and ask for a no-
 frills suspend in HAL for the future.
