 Alan writes: This happened between 1440 and 1450. I just discovered it
 this morning.

 It seems to work for text/strings, but not for other objects. Try to copy
 a picture to paste buffer and then do a "new morph from paste buffer" or
 alt-v to get the copy onto the world. The last string copied is what will
 show up.
