 We have the geode optimizations in the gcc-4.1 shipped with F7, but
 we're not turning on -march=geode on any builds we make.

 I'd like to ask some Fedora developer if we can add geode
 to the list of archs supported in Makefile.common.

 This would make it easy for us to build all our custom rpms for
 the geode.  python, glibc, cairo and xorg are pretty performance
 critical.
