 The xrandr spawn doesn't work for the same reason; the root-running ohm
 doesn't have X access.

 Should we be running this as user olpc?  The specfile doesn't do that --
 we'd want to not run it at startup, and do /usr/sbin/ohmd & in .xinitrc or
 something.  Richard, is there anything in ohmd that depends on root
 access?
