 Think I already did:  http://dev.laptop.org/ticket/31#comment:24 contains
 logs for lid and ebook.  We *do* get a hal event for power, too, which is
 cool.  No kernel change needed.  It says `computer_logicaldev_input
 condition buttonPressed = power`.
