 Hi,

 Jim was talking about the screensaver X extension, which hooks in to DPMS,
 not a screensaver client.  We have X hooked up to shut down the video
 hardware after 20 mins idle, through DPMS, and this behavior is probably
 fine for Trial-2.  So, I think we don't need any new behavior from OHM
 here,

 Putting the dcon to sleep when the lid is closed is different, because X
 can't tell when the lid is closed; we need OHM to put the dcon to sleep
 completely when that happens.
