 The design for the scrollbar places the rounded white bar against a solid
 button gray rect.  The current style has a lighter gray region at either
 end that creates a rounded groove that the bar sits in.  Though this works
 well with the bar shape, the rect is designed to merge seamlessly with
 text areas, scrolling views, and other rectangular regions, so this
 rounded effect should be removed.
