 This is not gtk theme specific, it's very easy to reproduce it with
 default gtk theme and gtk-demo.

 Benzea wrote a testcase which does more or less what we do with gtk
 buttons in our theme. I rewrote it in python and attached it here. It
 renders fine on my F7 but breaks on the XO.

 If I use lines instead of arcs it works fine (set ARC to True to try it
 out).
