Comment:

Assuming we keep the behavior of auto-showing the frame at Home view, we
have to treat it as a total override and ignore the key, disallowing
hiding. Of course, we have to maintain state for the frame properly,
meaning that pressing the key a few times from Home view shouldn't toggle
its on/off state in the background, without visually representing the
change; It needs to ignore it completely.

Allowing the user to toggle the frame off from Home view seem futile,
since it would come back on automatically each time they return from
another screen. That would be more annoying, in my opinion, than
 disallowing it completely.

Unfortunately that leaves us with a key that doesn't "work like usual"
while in "Home view mode", and which doesn't really provide any feedback
about it. I suppose we could have a global preference for "Always show
Frame in Home view" so that those who are comfortable with the idea and no
longer need it present for discovery don't have to see it all the time.
