Comment:

 I'm happy to play with it a bit, but I'm not sure how much I can suggest
 in the way of improvements. The one core improvement would be to adjust
 the colors to better match the XO and keep with the spec'd icon style.
 Right now the majority of the tokens seem to be filled in stroke color,
 with no strokes, and the rest are stroked in stroke color, with no fills.
 Instead, the 4 tokens on the diagonal should be filled with the stroke
 color, so they don't look like holes, and the rest should be the fill
 color with strokes.  Other than that, it does convey the core idea behind
 the game.  I might suggest cutting it to a 3x3 grid instead of 4x4 to
 simplify its appearance, but that of course detracts from the
 connect-'''4''' aspect...
