Comment:

 I repeated Chiaying's procedure on a B2 as well as a B3 laptop, with the
 RC1, 478 build. On the B2, after 20 minutes or so the back light turned
 off (I assumed this was a good suspend). When I hit a key, the light came
 back on and it was working again.

 On the B3 after about 20 minutes, the backlight stayed on and I was
 staring at an otherwise blank (but white) screen. I didn't see the same
 lines as Chiaying, but it is clearly not the same behavior as the B2, and
 not a good behavior.

 When I hit a key, the screen went back to the display of the calculator
 (which is where I had left it).
