tried using usb key to boot/re-flash olpc b2-1, bios does not seem to
recognize the usb drive, but usb LED was blinking for a few seconds (so
there was usb activity). shutdown olpc, plugged usb drive into desktop,
usb drive seem completely dead now, no entry in dmesg for any usb
activity, LED not blinking. this happened to 2 usb drives for me, and user
 fireball experienced similar problem.

USB drive info: (pqi u230, 1gb drive)
