Comment:

 Jim, Dave and I are testing the B2 touchpads in B2 hand-assembled
 machines.  We are seeing some of the same problems as before, but with
 Mitch's new diagnostic tool we can better characterize.  There are blind
 spots on each touch pad when the system is running off battery
 (unplugged).  There is also "jumping" thta is also worse with the system
 unplugged. Touching with the tip of the finger in capacitive mode is
 better than touching with a larger area of the finger.  etc.  These are
 all reminiscent of the B1 build, but the behaviour of the new touchpad and
 system are much better.

 We are about to try some of the same tricks that we invoked with B1 build
 like connecting the touchpad to the keyboard with big wide copper tape
 strip, and so forth.  More to come.
