 Sorry, my description of the mechanism was somewhat incorrect. And what we
 have planned is what you have mentioned. The OLPC board has a GPIO
 (GPIO[2]) connected to the EC for this purpose. When I said, the firmware
 would send an event, it is actually an interrupt via this GPIO.
