Comment:

 5, or even 3 seconds is preposterous.

 I think some of the xkbcomp has gotten fixed; of course, we could avoid
 this completely by precompiled keyboard stuff.

 I'd like to see some more profiling after BTest-2.

 It's only worth low hanging fruit picking though: fast suspend/resume and
 power management are much more pressing.
