 Just in case, if you haven't looked at...  The small circles are the way
 to get to the "constructionist" level of Etoys.  You can not only play
 games, but build one, or disassemble an existing one.

 Take a look at http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Sugar_EToys and other pages for
 the basics.

 BTW, I can't reproduce one of the problems you reported.  New does work
 for me.  Please confirm.
