#757: Nickname accepts an entry that causes sugar to fail to start
--------------------+-------------------------------------------------------
 Reporter: Quozl | Owner: dcbw
     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: low | Milestone: Untriaged
Component: sugar | Keywords:
--------------------+-------------------------------------------------------
At the initial nickname prompt, entering a very long sequence of "1"
characters followed by a word resulted in sugar failing to start, with X
being restarted over and over. Workaround is to remove
.sugar/default/config, which causes the nickname prompt to return.

While updating three laptops in the back row of an excellent Keith Packard
RandR and X hotplug presentation at LCA07 linux.conf.au, one laptop was
pressing on another laptop's 1 key during initial boot after build 235
installation. This wasn't immediately detected. Typing the intended
nickname of Quozl-1 ... wasn't echoed in the nickname text box. This was,
 however, saved in .sugar/default/config.

Attempting to reproduce, after about a minute of holding down the "1" key
in the prompt, the text entry field blanks, the text cursor is forced to
the right-hand edge of the field, and further characters typed are not
echoed. After pressing enter, the text console is seen instead of the
sugar UI. nickname value in the config file had 1912 characters, all
0x31, except last four which were "trac".
