 Ivan,

 I see the milestone marked is B3; for that date I can support the
 possibility, if it goes into immediate test soon after B2 is done....  If
 the intent is for B2, I have grave reservations.

 Requests for substantively different updates of code for B2 were due over
 a week ago.  I did not see a request, though I have been aware of the 2.5
 issue for quite a while.

 Have we been testing Python 2.5 on the laptop?  I'm very reluctant to
 change such a basic component at this date just before BTest-2 that all
 our applications rely on unless it has (already) been in serious test.
