 I'm talking about having vim available as a console editor. gvim is fine
 as part of the Develop activity.

 No, of course it wouldn't be -- but we need an *editor* in the base image,
 not just an IDE. You know, that thing the kids will have to use to edit
 their xorg.conf  X-)
