 We're all in agreement about this; SJ just proposed this for B2 so we have
 an interim solution until the journal is functional. It's a stopgap, and
 I'm +1 on it, particularly because in many cases people start the browser
 without having connected to a network yet, and are then greeted by a DNS
 resolution error.

 Let's please do this, e.g.: ~/Library.
