#864: Problems with flash plugin with the web activity
--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
 Reporter:  joaoboscoapf  |       Owner:  blizzard
     Type:  defect        |      Status:  new
 Priority:  normal        |   Milestone:  Untriaged
Component: distro | Keywords: Flash, Web
--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
 I installed the flash plugin from adobe in the web activity according to
 the instructions in
 [http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Web_Browser#Flash_in_the_default_web_browser].

 It works fine but when I right click on an animation, the browser crashs.
 The ouput I got is:

 {{{
 The program 'sugar-activity-factory' received an X Window System error.
 This probably reflects a bug in the program.
 The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
   (Details: serial 713 error_code 2 request_code 12 minor_code 0)
   (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
    that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
    To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
    option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
    backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error()
 function.)
 Segmentation fault
 }}}

 I know that you don't plan to include adobe's flash in the browser but I
 think some people will do it.

 Related to ticket #652.

 I used a Q2B43 / 239 build laptop.

 ps: To get the output I opened the developer's console and executed the
 following command:
 {{{
    sugar-activity-factory foobarativity.FooBarActivity
 /usr/share/activities/FooBar.activity
 }}}
