 No, GET_HW_SPEC does not cause the RA to be reset, at least with current

 Could it be happening on older firmware versions?

 The December thread on libertas-dev mentions two AP's in which association
 failures have been seen:

 - old Orinoco based AP's in the OLPC office (Dan)

 - Linksys WRT54G (Jim, me)

 I don't have an WRT54G handy anymore, but I've asked Jim to bring his to
 the office (or buy one), so we can debug it (and #841) ASAP.
