 Another alternative would be to package these files as a very trivial
 package called, "olpc-font-compat" or some such.  That would document
 their purpose.

 I'd suggest that dennis git-revert 4027d8 on the update.1 branch; let's
 Fix It Right on joyride, so that it's correctly fixed for update.2.
