 Actually, I'm not experiencing the problem described in this ticket - I
 just hopped on for the ride.

 You can read my entries in #1802 for more information on that, I've even
 attached the dmesg output from inserting the card

 I would be happy if I could upgrade my problem to where I could actually
 mount the card - by hand or otherwise.

 I read some mention on the OLPC Yahoo Group that there may be some SD
 cards that don't work with the XO, but I can't find an official page?

 As I am also the one who created ticket #5658 (Sticky Alt Key), I will
 probably be RMA'ing this XO ... So if my SD problem is really hardware
 related, maybe the replacement XO will work better.

 All that being said, if you still want me to grab the journal log from
 inserting my SD card, I'd be happy to.  In fact, I may do it just to add
 to ticket #1802 ...
