 I shut down the unit from my center X icon, requesting a "Shut Down". the
 unit goes through a shutdown routine, but does not physically turn off. I
 had to use the on/off button to turn the unit off.

 Curious is this a native function, if so, why does the screen simply say
 "It is now time to turn your computer off, push the green button" or why
 wouldn't the routine complete and simply shut off completely?

 This XO is fresh out of the shipping box today, and was being used on
 battery.
