 Setting the TZ environment variable will override that. The /etc/timezone
 file could be left in UTC.

 Note that emumerated zones are only required for automatic daylight
 savings transitions. A time zone of "OLPC+5:30" is perfectly valid, and
 could be chosen by dragging the hands of a clock.
