 Confirmed that the fix works in Joyride 1460.
 1. Set date to somewhere in 1999 using hwclock
 2. Flashed the XO using copy-nand
 3. Booted into sugar
 4. Verified that the date showed 1999
 5. Started Browse Activity and top in a VT

 Initially the CPU usage went up to 99% as the start page was being
 rendered - but after rendering was done, CPU usage went back to normal (no
 endless loops of opening and closing font files)

 6. Verified that fc-cache works without the -r flag

 I think the fix can go to the Update1 builds now.
