 protocol for this, and that's more easily implemented in Sugar IMHO,  by
 setting B to active only when A's setActive() call has returned.

 This might help explain why my series of callbacks for window visibility
 are not working reliably (then again, there might be a better
 implementation than what I've cooked up).

 JG, Marco: Based on Bert's comment, how do you recommend we proceed for
 Update.1?
