Strange, I'm seeing the same error (no port available) as I try to add
video support to OLPCGames, but I see it even on the first attempt to
create a gstreamer pipe inside the sugar-jhbuild environment (I don't see
it if I run the code in the non-sugar-jhbuild environment).
This stuff was working a few days ago (not the new stuff, but the basic
display-full-screen-in-pygame stuff), but now it reports the "no port"
error before I even get the sync message to tell it where to send the
results.
It's not an old instance hanging around (I've rebooted the whole machine
to be sure of that)... anyway, weird coincidence.
BTW, why is there a single xv output restriction? Seems like allowing
multiple streams to terminate in windows would be useful e.g. for
videoconferencing/distance learning setups. Anyway, just a data-point.
