 It just so happens that there's someone else named 'Phil' on one of the
 dev Jabber servers at the moment.  As I am also named 'Phil,' it seems
 that I cannot friend them.

 This is unfortunate.  Friendability should probably be based on the
 underlying XO JID and not our names.
