 I suspect that the problem will be in the way that the laptop handles the
 multiple channels.  One of the ways that pre-N/MIMO/N wireless routers
 obtain their increase in speed is by using multiple channels.  I am
 thinking that the XO is get confused by and/or confusing the router
 channel negotiations with the other network cards.  If this is true, then
 other brands of pre-N/MIMO/N wireless routers would have the same problem.
 Turning off the other channels on the XO may be a short work around while
 the correct solution of correctly handling the pre-N/MIMO/N negotiations
 is developed.  The other solution would be to look for the pre-N/MIMO/N
 negotiations and when you see them turn off the other channels
 automatically.
