Comment:

 Basic questions to the bug submitter:

 a) do you have a developer key?

 b) what build are you running?

 c) what build are you trying to upgrade to?  why?  how?

 d) why do you want firmware q2d07?  It solves a manufacturing problem; if
 you've got a working laptop with q2d06, there is no compelling reason to
 upgrade at the present time.

 I believe this is an end-user support question which should be handled by
 help at laptop.org or whatever that address is; that's why I assigned it to
 kim.
