 To clarify: that commit fixes WPA, not WEP.

 If anyone can show a debug log ({{{echo 0x186484 >
 /sys/module/libertas/parameters/libertas_debug}}}) of WEP failing while
 the firmware is actually alive and _responding_ to the driver instead of
 either ignoring or deferring all commands, I'll be happy to look into that
 further.
