 We looked at a network trace morgs captured on his laptop.. That did show
 multicast traffic, but only from his non-xo machines (Both MDNS and upnp
 traffic)

 The XO did show the contacts on the non-xo machines on it's eth0. So
 apparently it was still receiving mdns traffic on eth0.. Just not from
 it's fellow XO, while they did publish their activity on eth0....
