 Ed Hervey looked into this. It seems that it works fine with newer
 versions of GStreamer. Fedora 8 has version 0.10.14 of libgstreamer and
 gstreamer-plugins-base, which might not be quite new enough. If we're
 going to upgrade GStreamer for Update 2, we should consider taking 0.10.15
 from Fedora 9.
