#5425: Laptop is connected, but can't see any AP's in mesh

 After clicking on the media lab AP, the laptop connected fine. However,
 all I see in the mesh view are the other XO's on the same network, no APs
 or even circles for the three channels. In the home view, there is no
 circle indicating the laptops connection. However, by doing an iwconfig,
 it is evident that the laptop is still connected to the media lab. The
 laptop can ping google, and the browser activity is still able to get out
 to the web.

 I'm attaching the var/log/messages. If there are other logs that would be
 more helpful in debugging this, let me know, and I'll attach those the
 next time I see this.
