 Hi can you please comment:

 1. Copy a line of text to the clipboard (with ctrl+c I guess)
 2. Save the item to the journal.
 3. Remove the item from the clipboard.
 4. Go to the journal, click on the record of the clipboard item.
 5. Copy the item to the keyboard. ( to the clipboard you mean or how do
 you do this ? )
 6. Open Write or Browse and attempt to paste in the item.

 What I tested:

 1) open Write and ctrl+c some text
 2) use the generated clipboard item and copy to journal
 3) remove clipboard item
 4) open the Journal entry (clipboard item entry) with Write (the only
 available option) - text comes up fine in Write
