 The firmware looks for a developer key before it looks for the fw.zip.
 This means that if you have a developer key (develop.sig) stored on your
 machine, as most developers with MP machines will, then secure updates of
 the firmware will not work. There are plenty of work-arounds for this, but
 if the firmware were to look for an fw.zip before looking for a developer
 key, things would be greatly simplified, especially for  people with
 developer keys.
