Not necessarily - my original Etoys port used a Python activity that had a
GTKSocket as its sole component. Then Etoys was executed and its top
window redirected into the socket. This worked well in principle, but had
problems for example with DnD, possibly because we did not fully support
the XEmbed protocol. Also, the Python wrapper was heavy on memory, so we
eventually got rid of it. But it would depend on the activity if wrapping
is easier or adding native Sugar support.
