 Discovered during an olpc-update from meshtest-xxx to build 649.  Linux
 can see the symlink fine, and recovery using 'alt boot' is possible.

 The save-nand'ed image is at http://dev.laptop.org/~cscott/nosym.img .
 Since I tested 'alt boot' recovery, which swapped the boot links, the
 missing vmlinuz is now at nand:\boot-alt\vmlinuz.
