 After updating the libertas firmware on a server, there is no way to force
 a reload of the new firmware without power cycling the server.

 Simply rebooting the machine will not force a reload of the firmware (in
 previous versions of the driver, the device was not even brought up as the
 driver aborted when the firmware init failed.)

 This will prevent remotely managed upgrades from functioning properly.
