 we don't support irc loggers for privacy reasons.  we do share a lot of
 knowledge via those channesl that isn't captured in any lasting way.  It
 would be useful for someone with private logs to publish weekly summaries;
 and for there to be non-logging bots that support better-archived
 knowledge exchange (see #5283).

 In particular, short weekly summaries of a paragraph per major irc channel
 (at least #olpc, #sugar, #olpc-devel, #olpc-content,  and the set of
 language- and country-specific chans) would be most useful, and would help
 connect irc with other nicks.
