Comment:

 There are two places where this info should be available, in my opinion.
 The first is within the "about this XO" screen, where hardware specs,
 serial and software numbers, and other such information will live.  This
 is a good place to have a "big picture" view of the system.

 The second place for this information is, naturally, the Journal.  The
 detail view for each Journal entry should indicate the entry's size.  We
 may include a visualization (a bar?) of this in addition to the number of
 KB/MB.  Additionally, we've been putting a lot of thought into reviving
 the timeline as a mechanism for navigating the Journal's contents, and we
 have devised a way to map file size directly into this navigational
 element.

 I'm going to assign this to Simon for the first option mentioned above, as
 that seems like an easy target to hit.  Integration of the timeline in the
 Journal is part of a larger plan for its redesign, which I'll create
 another ticket for when appropriate.
