 As part of build release testing, we should run 'nose' (or some other
 python test-suite collector/runner) on the root of the filesystem to
 execute all python test suites.  This will make it easy for activity and
 other python developers to add component-specific test suites to the build
 test process.

 Once this component of the build process is in place, we should encourage
 python developers to include appropriate test suites with the code, and
 mandate the creation of an appropriate test whenever a regression
 catchable by the process is discovered (and alleged fixed).
