 Actually, from an activity developer's point of view, this call would make
 much more sense if added to the datastore API, rather than creating a
 completely new API.

 Or possibly even, maybe all Sugar APIs should be united under one facade.
 That might work nicely for security if there is only a single point of
 communication. And it could simplify documentation too.
