 J5 mentioned on olpc-dev that he has scripts available in Pilgrim that
 allow him to automatically build VMWare and VirtualBox "machines" for
 download.

 First step is probably just to produce the official images in converted
 form so that users can download the software and run the images without
 needing to know anything about conversions or the like.

 Images will likely need to be gzipped to reduce bandwidth.
