I've been experiencing lots of application crashes/failures to load/system
slowdowns lately. This happens when only one or two programs are loaded.
I haven't got many details so I'll post them all here and make separate
reports if someone can tell me how to gather more information.

Here are just a few incidents.

 1. I hadn't loaded the read activity that session before, but whenever I
tried to load a pdf off a usb stick, the program would load, then the
cursor would disappear and the program close. This happened until I
restarted X and then it worked perfectly.

 2. The camera activity was open as the only program. But after filming
for a little bit it seemed to freeze and the camera box just went grey
(the same colour as the frame) and wouldn't work again. The camera also
often stutters (a frame appearing every 2-20 seconds)for no apparent
reason (no other programs loaded, loading etc.)

 3. Tamtam and the camera activity sometimes pulse indicating their loading
for a while and then just disappear.

 4. Switching from home view to a already loaded program sometimes causes
the program to be half displayed with the frame still visible for up to a
minute (with the camera activity being the longest)
