 This is not necessarily true. Pointer can be coming from anywhere since we
 have a timeout going on (the palette is not hidden immediately when you
 move outside the invoker, so you can enter again before it's hidden.

 I'm going to attach a patch which takes a different approach. It just stop
 the popdown animation if the palette is up on enter invoker.

 Can you test it and see if it solves your problem completely?
